Open the Mobile Terminal application.

Log in to the "root" account by typing "login." Then type "root" for the Root account, and then "alpine" for the password.

Type in "passwd" now that you are logged in to the Root account.

Type in your desired new password. It must be more than five characters long.

Re-type your new password to confirm it.

Repeat Steps 3 - 5 with the Mobile account. Be sure to replace "root" with "mobile" in Step 2 to log in to the mobile account. Upon completion your device is safe with a new password.
