Launch Cydia on your jailbroken iPod touch by tapping its icon on the home screen.
2

Tap the "Search" button in the menu at the bottom of the screen and type "OpenSSH" into the search box at the top. Tap the entry for "OpenSSH" in the search results, followed by the "Install" button. This app is required to allow an SSH connection between the iPod touch and your computer.
3

Tap "Settings" on your iPod touch and tap the "Wi-Fi" button. Tap the blue arrow to the right of the Wi-Fi network the iPod touch is currently connected to, and take note of its IP address.
4

Launch Winscp on your computer by clicking its icon on the desktop, or by selecting it from the "Start" menu.
5

Type the iPod touch's IP address into the "Host Name" box, and enter "root" in the "Username" box. Type "alpine" in the "Password" box and select "SFTP" from the "File Protocol" drop-down menu. Ensure that the "Port" option is at its default setting of "22."
6

Click the "Login" button. An SSH connection is opened between your iPod touch and Winscp on your computer.
