Place one end of its USB cable into the computer's USB port and the other end into the iPhone's data port.

Double-click the iTunes icon on the computer to open iTunes if it doesn't automatically open.

Double-click the iPhone's icon underneath the "Devices" text on the left side of the iTunes screen.

Click "Summary," then "Restore." Click the option to back up your iPhone when prompted.

Wait for the restoration to complete. You receive a restoration completion message once it's completed. Disconnect your iPhone from the computer. To add all your files back onto your iPhone, reconnect it to your computer and click "Sync" in iTunes.
