Even though the above mod isn't the flashiest or covered in all kinds of figures, we must say we enjoy the simple tastefulness of the Septagon'd Xbox 360. Created by Aron (via Hawty McBloggy), the mod also features a new silver color for the console and some built-in LED lights for a cooling and calming effect. And while any one of us would undoubtedly be satisfied with the above mod, Aaron has ...read more

It's been on store shelves for less than two days and Halo 3: ODST has logged nearly a million players in the last 24 hours. We're just going to come out and say it: Ben Heckendorn -- AKA Ben Heck -- has absolutely no respect for manufacturer warranties. The man cracks open every single piece of hardware he comes across, voiding warranties like blades of grass through a lawnmower. Case in point: observe his latest affront on warrantability, an Xbox 360 controller with buttons where the D-pad should be. Worse ...read more

This week, we're officially jumping straight from the Summer of Arcade into the winter of our discontent with ho-hum XBLA releases. Don't get us wrong -- we have nothing against basketball, but NBA 2K10 Draft Combine (400 / $5), which lets those who purchase it build and train a player for use in October's NBA 2K10, ain't exactly Shadow Complex. Its title does makes it sound like the NBA ...read more
