Okay, here's the thing, I had a whole load of problems with my NAT type being on strict as I could never work out how to open it again.
I tried a few methods,
e.g Port Forwarding,
Changing my router's settings
and resetting the whole router itself.
Now I play with a wireless connection and the way to open your NAT type is to simply:
Press the 'Guide Button'
Scroll to 'System Settings'
Navigate to 'Network Settings'
Then finally, click your internet service and then;
'Test Xbox Live Connection'
It should say 'Xbox Live is up and running'
Voila! Open NAT type!
