Completed the game on HARD difficulty.
At the start of the game you can pick your difficulty and you can choose to do this on your first or second playthrough. It will not be much harder than normal and once you have all of the upgrades it will be very easy to complete.
Note: Focus on getting Movement and Health increases before anything else.
