Hey all! This is almost identical to the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] but with some clarifications and revisions hopefully easing the process for people who do it now. Also this will hopefully clear up any disbelief that it got patched with the new dashboard update in the winter.

Requirements:
-A vision camera
-A photo-editing program of your choice (I use GIMP)
-Horizon


At the Xbox:

  1. Move your profile to a MU/USB.
  2. Take a personal picture and let it sync.
  3. Take another, and when you get to the screen with the 'Accept Picture' option, press a and once the guide is fully white, unplug your USB.
  4. Stay signed in. !important!


At the Computer:

  1. Prepare your pictures - 64x64 and 32x32 .png files. Transparency is allowed.
  2. Open Horizon and replace your pp_64 and _32 files with the ones you made.
  3. Rehash/resign.
  4. Place the MU/USB back into your Xbox.


At the Xbox 360 again:

  1. Go back to your gamerpicture selection screen.
  2. Reselect your new gamerpicture in Personal.
  3. Sign out and back in.
  4. Enjoy your new picture!

Aura Works fine and all but I'm the only one who can see the picture. All my friends see the old/original picture, I've downloaded on the Marketplace.


You have to use the camera
