Returned from the dead using "Resurrection" for the first time.

Once you are done with the tutorial area and into the main game, death will present you with an option: Die or Resurrect. Choose resurrect and this achievement will unlock.

You are able to use the resurrect option once, then it is gone until you rest at a Sculptor's Idol.
