Make a Ruby

The ruby is basically the same thing as a black pearl from the first Hexic. There are two different ways to make them in Hexic 2. You can either surround a piece with six starflowers like in the original, or you can line up five starflowers either diagonally or vertically and this will also make a ruby. Obviously the line is better because it uses less starflowers and the easiest mode to do this in is Marathon.
