48. 3 Black Star
Description: Burn 200,000 calories
Gamerscore Worth: 70G
How to Earn: Nearly every exercise you do in this game burns calories. Each exercise has a tracker that is prominently displayed, so you can see what you've burned while exercising. The more rigorous the activity, the more you burn.

Burning 200,000 calories is no easy feat. If you use this game as intended, and only exercise for 30 to 60 minutes a day a few times a week, it will take several years of regular activity to burn this.

Fortunately, there are several things that can speed this along for achievement hunters:

Set your weight to the max allowable, and height to the shortest. Make yourself a teenager.

Any progress you've earned in Your Shape: Fitness Evolved will carry over, as long as you signed up with YourShapeCenter.com for the first game. This can give you a good head start, and, if you burned at least 10,000 calories in the first game, earn you the Orange Belt, The Spartan, Green Belt, First 1K, Blue Belt, Purple Belt, and Red Belt achievements. These will unlock after completing your first exercise in this game.

Finally, there is an exploit you can use to trick the Kinect into thinking you're playing the game, and still burn calories. It involves the Run the World races and a chair. This has to be done offline, as it was patched out, so you'll need to clear your system cache to remove the patch before attempting it. This method will allow you to burn calories at a very high rate, potentially 2000 to 5000 per hour if done correctly.

Start up the shortest Run the World race available (New York 1), and while the game loads, position a chair in front of you, but remain standing. If done correctly, the chair you be a part of your in-game avatar. After it begins, duck behind the chair, so that Kinect thinks you're crouching. The chair should be the only thing visible, and the game should think it is you. This might take a few tries to trick the game and Kinect. You can try putting a blanket over the chair to help disguise its shape.

If you did it right, the calories should start going up, but you should not be moving forward in the race. Now just reposition the chair to increase the rate of calories burned. 60 calories a minute is a good rate to try for, but this isn't always possible; 30 is more likely to happen. Once you're happy with the rate of burn, crawl out of the Kinect's range, and go do other things. Check on the game periodically to make sure you're still burning calories, and that it hasn't paused.

When you want to stop, remove the chair from view, and make Kinect refocus on you. You'll then have to finish the race for the calories to count, which is why you want the shortest race possible. If you like time-stamps on your achievements, stop short of your achievement goal so you can finish up the race. Then connect to LIVE, and earn it online. (NOTE: You'll need to re-enter your height, weight and age after reapplying the patch.)

Below is a video showing the chair method in action:
