If you find youself wanting to quickly obtain 40 reverses, you can boost it with a friend (Though having 3 others will make it that much easier).

Simply set up the game type to include the ability to not be forced to play cards even when a play is available, and the ability to draw cards without ending the turn(I wish I could remember the exact options but they allued me at this moment in time).

Now when playing the game, you will want it so that the person helping you boost is NOT across from you (That's why having multiple people help, but if you only have one other person then try playing a team game).

Now activate a reverse card that changes the order onto your boosting partner (Or vice versa), now the other person activates a reverse card changing the order back to the original player (So even if there are computer's present, it doesn't matter). If you do not have a reverse card, then simply keep picking up cards (By pressing B) until you do.

"I was able to do 40 in about 5 minutes".
