Intercept a pass intended for Randy Moss. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op)
Randy Moss is the #1 Wide Receiver for the New England Patriots. He wears number #81.
You will have to intercept a pass intended for him, meaning that you (the defender) catch the ball instead of him. This will also get you the Mr. Not So Perfect Achievement, since you will be intercepting a pass from Tom Brady intended for Randy Moss. Once more we will be using 2 Controllers. Controller 1 can play as any team he likes, Controller 2 will have to pick the New England Patriots.
Once in game, let Controller 2 set up a pass play.
Pick any Randy Moss-centered pass play "By Player" > "WR" > "Randy Moss" and pick any.
Once youve done that, let Controller 1 pick any defensive play. Now make sure that Controller 2 sets Randy Moss' route to a "Go Route" to let him run straight ahead. This done by pressing [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to get to the route menu, then press [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to select Randy Moss and press UP on the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .
Additionally, let Controller 1 go through every defensive player pressing [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and let each player drop back into zone coverage, done so by pressing [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and UP on the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . If youve done everything right and snap the ball pressing [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] , the defenders will drop back into zone coverage while Randy Moss will run straight ahead.
Now let Controller 2 tap [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to throw a deep pass to Randy Moss. Make sure to press [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] again after the throw to control Randy Moss and move him away from the marker where the ball will be. If this worked, all defenders will head over to the place where the ball will drop. Now only press [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to catch the ball and intercept it.
NOTE: Make sure to check that the difficulty and quarters are set to fit the requirements and that you are NOT playing the Pro Bowl
