Electronic Arts sues EA (a fitness company) in logo dispute
The logo pictured, for Energy Armor, probably reminds you of the Electronic Arts logo. And according to Electronic Arts, it's a logo "likely to cause confusion, or to cause mistake, or to deceive consumers as to an affiliation, connection, or association between Energy Armor and Electronic Arts." Total videogame spend in US hits $4.5 billion during Q2
NPD has released a report citing the amount spent by US consumers on gaming accessories, content and hardware during Q2 of the 2011 fiscal year, and the figure currently stands at $4.5 billion, which is up one percent year-over-year. Report: In-Game Advertising to “Increase Rapidly”
The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has published a report stating that the amount spent on in-game advertising will at least double by 2014. According to a new study by E-skills UK, the sector skills council for business and information technology, UK developers are more concerned by the general state of the economy than Games Tax Relief. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier dated for March 2012
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has been confirmed for a March 2012 release date by Ubisoft. The confirmation follows a host of retailers including Amazon, Wal-Mart and Best Buy all coincidentally tagging listings for the title with the same launch date of March 6.
