The PC version of Battlefield 3 has been leaked to various torrent sites over a week before its official UK launch on October 28. Dark Side of Gaming says the download is 9.96GB in size and offers a fully playable version of the shooter's single player campaign. We've contacted publisher EA for confirmation of the report and any additional comment.

Having detailed four of Battlefield 3's nine multiplayer maps last week, DICE has revealed the final five that will ship with the shooter at launch. Finally, the PC version of Dead Island gets the patch many have been waiting for. Techland delayed the Bloodbath Arena DLC to get important in game issues fixed. Most prominent was the corrupted save file glitch which ruined saved files after players had accumulated 190 items. DICE has hinted at an ambitious year-round DLC plan for Battlefield 3. Grand Theft Auto maker Rockstar has announced a mobile version of its influential, 10-year-old sandbox adventure Grand Theft Auto III. Microsoft has announced that it has acquired Austin-based Splosion Man and The Gunstringer developer Twisted Pixel. Founded in 2006, the studio has built close ties with Microsoft, releasing four games for Xbox Live Arcade since 2009, while recent game The Gunstringer was a boxed Xbox 360 exclusive that made use of Kinect.
