Marketing materials (click, click) obtained by Kotaku reveal Microsoft’s plans to take the’ less is more’ approach with Kinect’s packaging as it launches this November. Eagle eyed viewers will also notice redesigned Xbox 360 packaging, soon to be bundled with the motion device. There’s no knowing if these are final, though if they are, be prepared for purple game boxes.

UK-based online retailer Play.com has listed the full technical specifications of Microsoft's upcoming Kinect, as provided by Microsoft. While the system apparently tracks up to six people at a time, it is only capable of tracking two "active players." Looks like Infinity Ward may no longer focus solely on the Call Of Duty series. Streaming video service provider Hulu has today confirmed a $9.99 per month subscription-based model called Hulu Plus and, next to the likes of iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch, it’s coming to both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
