XBLA content browser will launch July 14th

4.5
Microsoft has announced that it’ll be launching Destination Arcade, a new interface to look through Xbox Live Arcade’s offerings with, next week.

The executable application allows to sort the 250+ available games by price, community rating, new arrivals etc, as well as read up on upcoming releases and see what games are played and come recommended by friends.

According to Xbox Live’s director of programming Larry Hryb, Destination Arcade is “another way” to browse, so presumably the NXE integration isn’t going anywhere.

The “recommendation engine & visual browser app,” as Hryb puts it, will launch next Wednesday, July 14th, in the US only.
