Remaking a classic game is always a balancing act. Trying to recreate a beloved game for a new generation can be a huge task for even the most skilled studios, which makes last year’s remake of Resident Evil 2 all the more special. Sony has updated its sales numbers for the PS4, confirming that the console has sold over 106 million units worldwide. Cumulative software sales for the console, which includes retail and PlayStation Store sales, also hit 1.15 billion as of December 31st. A new playlist update has hit Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and added a new variant to Gunfight. Instead of 2v2, players can now battle 1v1 in a fight for survival. Don’t worry – the 2v2 mode still remains so you can hop into it if the solo pressure is too much. Infinity Ward has also brought back Shipment 24/7. A new Exotic quest is available in Destiny 2 as part of the Season of Dawn. Released recently, the quest allows one to earn a new Exotic sidearm called Devil’s Ruin. A new set of photos claiming to be of the PlayStation 5 devkit and controller have surfaced online, and while we can't speak to the veracity of these images, they certainly appear to be in line with previous leaks and photos. The Final Fantasy VII Remake demo recently leaked, revealing a nicely nostalgic opening cinematic.
