A western demo for PlatinumGames’ high-octane shooter Vanquish has been confirmed. Bungie, the company behind the Halo franchise, is looking for a "Software Development Engineer in Tests" and an "Engine Programmer" who are familiar with the PlayStation 3, signaling its move from Xbox 360 exclusivity. Since the Bungie/Activision deal was announced, the plan was alwas for a multiplatform release, and now, it's happening.

Sony announced this morning via its EU PlayStation Blog that the demo for Mafia 2 will be a "24-hour exclusive" to PlayStation Plus subscribers on the EU PSN (people presumably still reeling from their bonus copies of LittleBigPlanet).
