Sony is “yet to share” more unannounced PS3 titles

4.7
Sony is undoubtedly making a big play for triple-A first-party titles this generation, having published some of the most memorable games of this console cycle so far – LittleBigPlanet, Killzone 2 and the Uncharted series, to name but a few. Since E3, we’re all now very aware the PS3 creator intends to keep up this trend, with titles Twisted Metal, inFamous 2 and Killzone 3 due to hit store shelves in the next six months alone. Could we ask for any more? Sony thinks so.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s head honcho Andrew House told his audience at Sony’s Gamescom press conference that the currently-announced titles are, in fact, only the tip of the iceberg.

Not revealing too much, House said; “We’ve heard from Resistance 3 and Ratchet and Clank All 4 One, along side games such as inFamous 2, Sorcery, GT5, Killzone 3, and a few more we’ve yet to share… this is going to be a stellar year for PlayStation.”

No hints are made about the titles he is referring to or even the genre they belong to, we could hazard a guess one of them may be Team ICO’s latest project The Last Guardian, considering the game hasn’t had much of a formal announcement to Western audiences yet. It’s also not certain whether House is referring to existing franchises (Uncharted 3, maybe?) or if these are brand new titles we haven’t seen or heard anything of yet.
