Bungie, the company behind the Halo franchise, is looking for a "Software Development Engineer in Tests" and an "Engine Programmer" who are familiar with the PlayStation 3, signaling its move from Xbox 360 exclusivity. Since the Bungie/Activision deal was announced, the plan was alwas for a multiplatform release, and now, it's happening.

Sony announced this morning via its EU PlayStation Blog that the demo for Mafia 2 will be a "24-hour exclusive" to PlayStation Plus subscribers on the EU PSN (people presumably still reeling from their bonus copies of LittleBigPlanet). Ah system software updates, love ‘em or hate ‘em there’s no denying they cause some sort of issue for someone everytime a new one’s released. The PS3’s most recent 3.41 one is no exception; according to Sony’s EU blog, if users are replacing the PS3 HDD, the update can stop halfway through.
