PSN Errors E-80E80034 and NW-31453-6 Encountered by New PS4 Owners

New PlayStation 4 owners who just bought their console in North America during the special midnight launches are reporting different errors when trying to connect the next-gen console to the PlayStation Network, including codes E-80E80034 and NW-31453-6.

The PS4 is launching as we speak across North America and lots of different stores are organizing midnight launches for the next-gen console.

Now, new owners of the device are trying to connect their console to the PlayStation Network in order to download the required 1.50 firmware update but quite a few are encountering problems with the online service.

More specifically, they're met with error messages containing the codes E-80E80034 and NW-31453-6, which both stop the login process into the PSN.

Sony offers no details about these two errors, according to GameInformer, so it's unclear just why they're happening.

Day one error's were bound to occur, won't be surprised if Xbox One plays up.

wouldn't Sony have there console made in Japan? Or do the Japanese go to china to get there stuff made to lol because Microsoft's Xbox is made in China also, So are you saying if the Xbox has Errors it's because it's Chinese?

BTW this is coming from a Xbox FANBOY

PS3 would be manufactured in China just like most things are these days as it costs less to make it there and ship it half way across the world to the stores.

RRoD was hardly fixable, errors are easy to fix.

RRoD was fixed lol just can't accept that the PS4 launch was a failure.

And how is selling a million consoles on launch failure? Please explain. You act like the X1 is going to have the perfect launch. Additionally, what you want PS4 to do? Stop making consoles because they have some errors on day 1? Smh.
