- Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Gameplay Revealed
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is in development for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and is poised to release worldwide on November 15, 2019. At the moment of publishing no additional ports have been hinted at, and Respawn outright confirmed it has no plans to bring the game to Nintendo Switch.

- Apex Legends Reveals Wattson as New Character
- Apex Legends Season 2 Begins July 2nd
- Apex Legends Season 2 Adding Weapon: The L-STAR

Respawn Entertainment revealed the first of several details about Season 2 before EA Play even began when it shared some thoughts on the changes we’ll see compared to the first season. Skins for the game’s Legends are one of the main areas that’ll be improved, so you can expect Wattson so have some flashy new cosmetics when the character is added.

- Battlefield 5 Shows Off New Multiplayer Maps
- Battlefield 5's New Content Goes To The Pacific Theater
The first map is called Marita, based on the village where the Battle of Greece began. It features a sloping mountain ridge and tight streets, with lots of hills and multi-story buildings for verticality. Allies are in control of the town, while the Axis tries to break their stronghold.

- FIFA 20 Release Date and Gameplay Changes Revealed
In addition to the standard FIFA offering, this year's game is also bringing back FIFA Street, or at least a mode like it. It's called Volta mode. It's not quite FIFA Street, but it takes that formula and marries it to core FIFA gameplay.

“EA SPORTS Volta Football takes the game back to the streets with the authentic culture, creativity and style of the small-sided game played on streets, courts and futsal pitches around the globe,” one of the game’s pages says about the mode. “Build your player, pick your gear, and express your style in football playgrounds all over the world; from a London cage, to an Amsterdam underpass, to a Tokyo rooftop.”

Volta sounds like an interesting mode that may bring back a whole new base of players to the game. There's a lot of people who liked FIFA Street back in the day but never played the core FIFA games.

FIFA 20 is poised to release on September 27 via the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

- Anthem Producer Recognizes "We Have Some Work To Do"
EA surprised Anthem fans by not giving the game an official spot on its EA Play presentation, but it did squeeze some time for the game between its FIFA and Madden NFL spots. Lead producer Ben Irving appeared for a short interview and recognized the game's weak spots while committing to continuing to work on it.

Irving said that right now the team is working with influencers and getting feedback from players about recent events and the Cataclysm. The idea right now is to gather impressions from the test server and use that to shape content going forward.

“Anthem does have a future. A very bright future, we hope," Irving said. "We've learned a lot these last few months, we really want to make the game better, we believe Anthem can be a really amazing game. We know we have some work to do, we just want to work with the community and build it together and make it the game that everyone wants it to be."

- Madden NFL 20 Gameplay Revealed
Pre-orders have been up for the game for a while now, so if what you’ve seen in the gameplay trailer has enticed you to pick up a Madden game for the first time or return for another year, you can do so by grabbing the game here. Like other sports games from EA, if you pre-order the Ultimate Superstar Edition, you’ll get some perks like in-game items and the chance to play it three days early. Everything that’s included in that version can be found below.

- The Sims 4 - Island Living Embraces The Tropical Life, & More
Among the many leaks that took place today was The Sims 4: Island Living, a new expansion for the 2014 title. It’s since been revealed at EA Play 2019 and has players heading to the island of Sulani for all kinds of rest and relaxation. Did we mention you can live next to an active volcano, meet Elementals and create mermaids?

Along with new items, new hair-styles, new clothing, Sims being able to go into the open water and much more. Sims can become friends with aquatic life like Dolphins. Tropical Fish and the Coral Reefs surrounding the island also help liven up the surroundings.

And yes, there are jet-skis you can ride on the water. You can also have your Sims care for the ecosystem and clean up the island. New careers like fishing, lifeguard, dive instructor and much more will be available. The Sims 4: Island Living will release on June 21st for PC and July 16th for Xbox One and PS4.
