At the start of the mission follow the road that leads into the city. One of the buildings on the left will have a machine gun on the second story. Enter that building and the sword will be inside. Pick it up stab an enemy and you will be 10 gamerscore richer.

It's not a lot of gamerscore but I guess finding a sword isn't the most challenging task
