Earn a Bronze (or better) medal in a Coordinated Defense Multiplayer mission.

This can be earned on any map other than the Prologue, and can be obtained locally with two controllers or via LIVE with a friend or a random using matchmaking. The tower placement locations get split between the two players so it will take some coordination to ensure that resources are not wasted, especially right at the beginning of the game.

Once you are comfortable with the game mechanics, this can easily be done with two controllers used by the same player. Threshold (Chapter One) is particularly easy since it is so small. When you start the game, the tower placement locations will be outlined in either light blue or tan. Use one controller to identify which color is associated with it (just press A to see if you can select the location; nothing will happen if you cannot) and start placing towers until you run out of resources. Switch controllers and do the same with it, and at that point it is merely a matter of upgrading and placing towers as each controller accumulates enough resources.

You will need to earn enough points individually to surpass the bronze medal requirements. You only earn points for kills made by your turrets, and it is possible for one player to meet the requirements for a bronze medal and the other player to not meet them.
