Free Kick Specialist achievement guide
Score from a direct Free Kick at a distance greater than 30 yards.
Gamerscore worth: 40G

This solution isn't close to original - as it's been done in virtually every FIFA game that has a "Free Kick" type achievement - but here it is anyway for anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of facing this type of achievement:

First, you're going to need two controllers.

From the FIFA 15 "Main Menu", use D-Pad left or D-Pad right to highlight the "Play" tab.

Highlight the "Kickoff" tile (usually in the top left corner) of the "Play" tab. Press the A button to enter the next menu. With the primary controller (the controller you want to get the achievement on) select one team. Select the opposite team with the second controller.

(I used Spurs as my team, Arsenal for the second controller - but if you are having issues getting this to work, select a team with a great free kick specialist (Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich all come to mind) and any half star team (England Football League Two's Accrington comes to mind.)

Keep progressing until you get to the final screen (it will have "Play Match" highlighted) - you can press D-Pad left or D-Pad right over to the "Game Settings" and change the time and/or difficulty if you feel the need. I used Amateur & 4 minute halves - but you might want to go longer if you're not confident. The achievement is going to pop as soon as you get the free kick in goal from the required distance, so you can quit out if you don't want to finish the match.

Once the game starts get possession with your primary controller, move the player with the ball out to the required distance, and then use the second controller to foul him (I usually just slide tackle from behind). This will get you a free kick.

The required distance can be a pain to gauge - so you can do one of two things:

1. The distance from the goal line to the penalty spot is approximately 12 yards, from the penalty spot to the top of the penalty arc (the curved mark above the penalty box) is another 10 yards. So you need to be at least 8 yards (or 24 feet or 7.3 meters) past this. So basically gauge the distance from the penalty spot to the top of the penalty arc & double it. If you're at least twice that far from the penalty spot, you're good.

2. An easier way is to just pick a spot about halfway between the top of the penalty box (not the arc, but the box) and the center line. That's almost always greater than 30 yards.

Now that you have a free kick 30 yards out, take the second controller and move the wall (the line of players standing between the player taking the free kick and the goal) and move them left or right as far as possible using the LT or RT button. I generally move them in the direction that will afford me the most goal space.

Next, press the back button on the second controller & move the goalkeeper away from the goal too. I don't think there is a limit on how far you can move him out of the way - so don't be conservative about it - get him far away from goal.

Now aim appropriately with your kick taker & let fly. I happen to be terrible at free kicks - if you are too, then I recommend my "bad free kick taker" approach: use the driven kick (LB + B) - and don't go nuts with the power.

You do all this from the correct distance & the achievement is yours. However, if the achievement doesn't pop (like it did on my first attempt), simply assume you weren't out far enough, increase the distance, and try again. Sooner or later you will get it.
