Known as the Escalation Pack, it’ll feature five maps – one of which is a zoo – and will release on May 3, according to a flyer posted on the retailer’s site, which has since been pulled. The Battlefield 3 release date may well have just been given away by the EA Download Manager - and if true, we'll be looking at a very possible dust up with Modern Warfare 3. The Nintendo 3DS is the biggest hardware launch of 2011, quite possibly one of the biggest launches in quite a few years. Since the handheld's release in the U.S. , reports have surfaced of the Black Screen of Death. This is very bad news for Nintendo. Hundreds of early 3DS adopters are complaining that Nintendo's latest portable console is giving them a really bad headache. Worryingly, for some the headaches come just after a matter of minutes of play. Some are even claiming that the 3DS makes them feel very ill and cross eyed as well.

THQ has shined its best bugle to announce that Homefront is a success: today, the publisher revealed the game has managed to infiltrate one million homes in North America, Europe and Asia. UBM TechInsights has done a teardown of the Nintendo 3DS and marks the total cost of the system's hardware at $101. That's $15 more than the DSi was reportedly made for, though the 3DS also includes a 3D screen and a gyroscope, along with other enhancements. Singularity developer Raven Software has been subject to a fair few Call of Duty rumours recently.
