Battlefield 3 vs Call of Duty: Showdown Marked for November

The Battlefield 3 release date may well have just been given away by the EA Download Manager - and if true, we'll be looking at a very possible dust up with Modern Warfare 3.

Activison's yet-to-be announced inevitability annually tends to launch in mid-November.

If the Battlefield 3 release date on EA Store is accurate - and it would be odd for the publisher to use such an accurate placeholder on its own site - EA could steal the march on its FPS rival by a full week.

November 2 is a Wednesday, which would make it at odds with the usual US release date day of Tuesday, whilst major games usually hit Europe on a Friday. For a title as big as Battlefield 3, however, a worldwide 'event' release date would not be too much of a wild surprise.

EA released a brand new Battlefield 3 gameplay trailer this week. If you haven't seen it, it's very much worth your time.

im just gonna buy both and see how everything goes but i can guarantee you that the people how are making mw3 know what there in for ..cuz there gonna mod that **** out of it and thre wont be any suppervision..battlefield in my opinion has to be the most realistic and best loooking game out there ...thats just my opinion

cod will get all the little tryhards, and little kids, battlefield will get all the kids that like a challenge and balanced guns, + vehicles

You got it right there. People will say its good because it has Call of Duty in it. CoD got bad after waw.

i would by battlefield over call of duty, i always sell cod a few weeks after i get it anyway.

It looks like Call of Duty's time is up, the series has been getting repetitive and if they don't come up with something new this time then Battlefield will definitely win the showdown.

But then again Call of Duty might come up with something brand new, unlike the past few games.

Realiity Holy **** how can people actually compare Cod to the amazing Battlefield series.
I mean seriously 64 player online battles,Vehicles including jets,destructible environments,Mass selection of weapons,Insane graphics and new engine,and balanced gameplay.

While Cod has been running on the same engine for 4 god damn years and they aren't making a new one for the next Cod either.
Can't make vehicles into the game because it will **** up the balance look at Cod 3,Waw, and Mw2 the vehicles are all massive killing machines.
Hell they have a hard time balancing the game.

TLDR;Call of duty can't compete against glorious Battlefield games.

Am getting both of these Games Call of duty is kind of boring now. New perks, killstreaks, new maps we all have had it before after a few months people will disklike the call of duty..

Battlefield is a pretty good game to be honest am getting both games there both great...
