Microsoft has announced that Xbox One owners will soon be able to stream their library of games to any Windows 10 device, later this year.

"With Windows 10 we will enable streaming of Xbox One games to any PC or tablet running Windows 10, later this year," Xbox boss Phil Spencer said during the Windows 10 event today. During the announcement, Spencer showcased the new feature by playing Forza on a Surface Pro 3 along with the Xbox UI on the device.

"We will treat Xbox gaming on Windows 10 with as much passion" as on the console, he added. As part of a set of gaming announcements for Microsoft's upcoming operating system refresh, Spencer also announced Fable Legends would launch on PC and allow for cross-play between the Xbox One.

This is a really cool idea I think. Probably useful at times.

I don't really see why you would need to stream your games to your PC.. doesn't make much sense and I don't see a point in it but its a cool feature.

This sounds weird, streaming console games to PC? I am not even sure how it would work
