The Crew delayed to December 2

The Crew's global release date has been delayed to December 2, Ubisoft announced Monday.

The three-week delay will allow the firm to conduct a second closed beta on consoles and further tune the game using "valuable player feedback and other essential information". The beta is set to begin in November.

"Our philosophy remains to deliver the best game possible," creative director Julian Gerighty said in a prepared statement. "We're all committed to delivering a revolutionary experience in the driving genre and we can't wait for The Crew to be in the hands of the players."

Ivory Tower said in September that it had fixed over 4,000 The Crew bugs in the space of 30 days, while making numerous modifications and improvements to the game following PC beta testing.

Sucks was hoping to get it earlier but I guess its better to have a game that's spent time on instead of put together as fast to make money *cough* Ghosts *cough*

Miss As long as it's for the reasons they said, I couldn't care less. I'd rather have a good game over something rushed that will be terrible.

I agree with you on this 100%! As they say, "Quality over Quantity" having betas and getting feedback from people will help make them game much better. I can't wait until the game is fully released.

I agree, I rather wait just a little while longer than get a terrible game. Don't know if anyone remembers the Test Drive Unlimited 2 launch; "Bad news for those who picked up Test Drive Unlimited 2 this week: the game is apparently falling apart, thanks to a few game-breaking bugs across various systems, including "permanent loading screen" problems and issues where the game's save file will get corrupted or not load." I rather not have something like that happen...
