The Crew delayed to December 2

The Crew's global release date has been delayed to December 2, Ubisoft announced Monday.

The three-week delay will allow the firm to conduct a second closed beta on consoles and further tune the game using "valuable player feedback and other essential information". The beta is set to begin in November.

"Our philosophy remains to deliver the best game possible," creative director Julian Gerighty said in a prepared statement. "We're all committed to delivering a revolutionary experience in the driving genre and we can't wait for The Crew to be in the hands of the players."

Ivory Tower said in September that it had fixed over 4,000 The Crew bugs in the space of 30 days, while making numerous modifications and improvements to the game following PC beta testing.

Delays can be annoying, but with reasons like this, they are the best and smartest delays you could make.

As long as it's for the reasons they said, I couldn't care less. I'd rather have a good game over something rushed that will be terrible.

This is actually good news because it helps them remove any bugs that can be harmful to the game.

Good for them. Now they dont have to compete with Halo for that November 11th date.
