Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed that a standalone version of the Glacier White PS4 will be available in Europe later this year.

While the white PS4 will initially only be available as part of a Destiny bundle releasing in September, Yoshida told French site GameOne that it'll also be available on its own before the end of 2014.

Sony announced the white PS4 Destiny bundle at E3 in June. It will include the console, a white DualShock 4 controller, the game and a 30-day voucher for PlayStation Plus. A price wasn't confirmed.

PS4 sales topped seven million units as of April 6, according to Sony, and PlayStation's European boss told CVG at E3 that he thinks Destiny will be the PS4's biggest system seller.

Publisher Activision will launch the Destiny beta on July 17 for PS3 and PS4 owners, and on Xbox platforms later in the month.
