Watch Dogs on PC to receive performance patch

4.5
The recent release, Watch Dogs, has been bogged down with not so stellar performance on quite a few gaming configurations but there is hope for those experiencing issues. The title's technical director, Sebastien Viard, has made it clear in the past that those on the PC in order to have a stellar experience on the game to be rocking an i7 processor and as graphics card with at least 2GB of dedicated RAM. He has announced a stability patch with no set release date yet intended to lower these lofty requirements for those of us without such intensive setups. We'll keep you updated about this upcoming performance patch!

Why wasn't is tested better in the first place? I think i am going to buy an xbox one as a pc capable of running watch dogs is going to have to have an i7 etc.

Hoepfully this will boost the performance on my little 270X. Not that it was bad in the first place, lol. Not gonna turn away some extra FPS.

But seriously, I highly doubt Watch_Dogs is going to utilize the full power of an i7.

Good to hear this hopefully this will let AMD users play the game with more stable FPS

Great to hear this. A lot of people will like this a lot!

Its a pathetic excuse of a pc title. Theyve downgraded so much from 2012 to 2014 pc version. Ubisoft needs to rid the pc gaming community of their dreaded DRM

Not too surprised that there's a few issues since it's a brand new game. Hopefully for the PC players this patch will fix a lot of issues, if not all.

Heard some lags on load screens. Hopefully PC users will get this fixed

Better them fixing the problems early on, the never fixing them at all.

Srs_Black Wonder if this will help AMD users at all, doubtful

Actually AMD released a patch/beta of sorts and it helps most of the problems with it.
