.NET Google API library paving way for Google on Windows Phone

4.5
Google announced last week that they had released a .NET API library seemingly as a first major step to getting Google services as a whole on the Windows Phone platform. The project is reportedly an open-source endeavor hosted at NuGet. The library allows developers within .NET to integrate either desktop or Windows Phone apps directly with Google services, the current library implementation features 50 unique APIs for the various Google services. After the past icy working relationship between Google and Microsoft this can only be seen as a positive step moving forward.

You can have your hand at fiddling with the .NET API library here.

I'm stuck here on my windows Nokia Lumia 1520 & I regret buying it. Windows phones suck. On topic, it would nice to have google apps that aren't complete crap.

I think that Windows Phones will go out of style completely in a few years or so.

Not a big fan of windows phones right now but if they keep moving towards getting rid of that nightmare called windows RT, then they are making good moves right now
