PS4 system update 1.51 coming soon

Sony will release PS4 system update 1.51 imminently.

According to Eric Lempel, VP of Sony Network Entertainment, the mandatory update improves system software stability and makes small UI refinements "such as clearly indicating when a user downloads a game and a game patch at the same time".

Lempel also notes that automatic downloads for system and game updates are enabled by default when PS4 is in stand-by mode.

PS4 launched in North America on November 15 ahead of the European and Latin American PS4 release date of November 29. PS4 sales hit one million units in the console's first 24 hours of availability.

Jane Fix BF4 Please! I'd be so happy.

This update should clear of the updates. Sony have noticed the issues and are fixing them if this update doesn't.

This update is needed before they do anything else. It depends upon all of the issues that are happening at this present time.

I wonder how long the update will take?

At least it is making the PS4 experience a tiny bit better.
