New Xbox One commercials target football, zombie fans

Microsoft has released a fresh pair of Xbox One TV commercials.

According to NeoGAF users, the Dead Rising 3 advert below was aired on Sunday during AMC's The Walking Dead, while the second commercial was shown during NBC's NFL Sunday Night Football.

Microsoft has confirmed a Xbox One release date of November 22, 2013 in 13 markets and a Xbox One price of £430 / $500 / $500.

The platform holder has also signed up England football captain Steven Gerrard and Star Trek actor Zachary Quinto for its Xbox One marketing campaign, which kicked off in late October.

The advertising blitz is designed to position the console as an all-in-one entertainment system and invites consumers to "jump ahead" to the next console generation by joining the Xbox One party. Spanning TV, cinema, radio, digital, social and retail marketing, the cost of the campaign will reportedly exceed $100 million (£62m).

People are still going to buy Madden ... so idek why the needed to push out a commercial for it. Madden just haven't got to the level of 2k NBA games yet. Why? Well they have no competitor. I was never a fan of NFL 2k but madden isn't going to be extremely realistic until they come back.

I'm not a big fan of Football, or Sport games in general! I do like Zombie games though! Hopefully, they have some awesome Zombie games on the Xbox One, and PS4!

I think this is more an advertisement of the features such as the snap tv feature and the background running of games, along with the live TV and voice controls more than a football game advertisement.

-Mark I thought the commercials were quite entertaining but I don't think I will be buying any of these games for my Xbox One.

I definitely will not be buying any of the football games or anything. I have never been a fan of the genre what so ever
