Xbox One is expected to outsell PlayStation 4 this holiday season

Xbox One is expected to outsell PlayStation 4 this holiday season, at least according to UK chain John Lewis’ head tech buyer Jonathan Marsh.

Speaking with Trusted Reviews, Marsh said Xbox One has the edge due to its game line-up and Xbox Live service.

“We are expecting more interest in the Xbox One,” Marsh said. “We are stocking both the PS4 and the Xbox One but if we were to back one, we are thinking that Xbox One will appeal a bit more to our customers in terms of the experience it creates.”

Marsh said he feel the console will appeal more to the chain’s consumer base, and is also basing his opinion on what the firm has “experienced in the past” with Microsoft consoles.

Well it makes sense, the PS4 is selling it's consoles to "hardcore gamers" while the xbox is selling it to almost every type of person. Gamers, movie lovers, fitness people & anyone else! Truthfully the xbox will always outsell playstation because it's broadness and universalness

Xbox has always been the best. Just ebcause its a much better service and as more coverage of games and entertainment.

I'm getting a ps4 too...... I guess you haven't seen my other posts, but I'm just saying not only cod people are getting the Xbox one

Exactly. And anyway, the PS4 is being sold in nearly 3 times as many countries as the Xbox One so are you really surprised the PS4 is slightly winning on pre-orders?
