Xbox One is expected to outsell PlayStation 4 this holiday season

Xbox One is expected to outsell PlayStation 4 this holiday season, at least according to UK chain John Lewis’ head tech buyer Jonathan Marsh.

Speaking with Trusted Reviews, Marsh said Xbox One has the edge due to its game line-up and Xbox Live service.

“We are expecting more interest in the Xbox One,” Marsh said. “We are stocking both the PS4 and the Xbox One but if we were to back one, we are thinking that Xbox One will appeal a bit more to our customers in terms of the experience it creates.”

Marsh said he feel the console will appeal more to the chain’s consumer base, and is also basing his opinion on what the firm has “experienced in the past” with Microsoft consoles.

Backbone I think all this party depends on the social side of things, like if all you mates have an xbone, you woundnt go and buy an ps4 to be pefectly honest


And after the Xbone did its turnaround all of my friends said they would get it which sold it for me


How old are your friends that they hated the drm? It wasn't a big deal

I would have to disagree. I can witnessed many people that have played Xbox and PS3 switched. I know of about 15 of my Xbox friends from 2010 that now game on the PC.

That's your opinion, I just go back to the stats every year.
Consoles always have more players and games started every year obviously.
PC will never be that big.

People(most) hate playing with a keyboard ect(whats the point of buying a controller when you can play console) and don't want to spend more money on a PC.

Anyways some people on here need to broaden their horizons when it comes to this matter, instead of just saying "I saw this coming" or "not surprising in the least", actually read the article and who's saying it will happen b4 jumping the guns... Try looking on just about any other site on this matter, maybe even check out some polls on other sites and you'll see the "console war" is far from what Jonathan Marsh makes it out to be....
