Xbox One is expected to outsell PlayStation 4 this holiday season, at least according to UK chain John Lewis’ head tech buyer Jonathan Marsh.

Speaking with Trusted Reviews, Marsh said Xbox One has the edge due to its game line-up and Xbox Live service.

“We are expecting more interest in the Xbox One,” Marsh said. “We are stocking both the PS4 and the Xbox One but if we were to back one, we are thinking that Xbox One will appeal a bit more to our customers in terms of the experience it creates.”

Marsh said he feel the console will appeal more to the chain’s consumer base, and is also basing his opinion on what the firm has “experienced in the past” with Microsoft consoles.

I doubt it will be that close of a fight.
Xbox has a bigger consumer market than sony has.

Even though the negative attention the Xbone got, it will still come out on top.

This doesn't surprise me and it shouldn't surprise anyone. Xbox will always have a bigger following no matter how much crap someone can talk on it.

Dreams i dont see this happening ive always sided with xbox but they are takin a L this generation they already screwed up to many times cant rely on anything they say cuz they will just change it in a few weeks

I agree that xbox did screw up in the first few weeks of the consoles announcements but they did come around in the end. I don't see them changing anything, and plus most of the changes weren't that big of a deal to me anyways. I don't see the xbox loosing, in the end it all comes down to personal opinions and also to what console your friends are getting.

Backbone I think all this party depends on the social side of things, like if all you mates have an xbone, you woundnt go and buy an ps4 to be pefectly honest

And after the Xbone did its turnaround all of my friends said they would get it which sold it for me

You base your decisions on what your friends think? Xbox one may have a lot of hate right now but let me remind you the Playstation did this last year and turned out pretty good within a couple months of its release. I'm switching from PS to Xbox because I read between the lines. Don Matrick and Phil actually said good things but they didn't say it well. I get what they're trying to prove but they are awful spokesman.

This isn'y possible. The PS4 is launching is 30 something countries while the Xbox One is launching in only 12. LOL. The PS4 is $100 cheaper and more powerful. It doesn't force you to buy a sh*t camera that nobody wants. PS4 has this holdiay season in the bag.
