Black Ops 2 'on track for record sales' - analyst

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is on track to achieve record sales, according to Cowen & Company analyst Doug Creutz.

He said in a research note: "Post-holiday sales trends for BO2 have been significantly better than those for last year's Modern Warfare 3, and we expect BO2 to slightly beat the previous franchise high watermark of the original Black Ops on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms across its life cycle."
Activision claimed in December that Black Ops 2 grossed $1 billion worldwide in its first 15 days of availability, a milestone reached 24 hours faster than 2011's Modern Warfare 3.

The shooter went on to be the best-selling game of last year in both the UK and the US

Activision social media manager Dan Amrich said last week that he expects 2013's entry in the Call of Duty series, which is rumoured to Modern Warfare 4, to be revealed no later than E3 in early June.

Im surprised...this game in general is just terrible...the campaign was ight...but the graphics are like N64 graphics and the multiplayer is extremely laggy...The host's fault ? nah. its treyarch

Yay? Honestly I just wanted to see the record. I'm sure they will beat the record and next year it will be beaten with MW4 or whatever they decide to name the sequel that they should not make. Activision is just raking in the money from these yearly releases.
