Modern Warfare Remastered Receives Supply Drops and Microtransactions

4.5
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered’s December update is now rolling out worldwide, bringing six new maps, numerous cosmetic items and female soldiers to Raven Software’s first-person shooter.

However, the update is also introducing a surprising – and in many quarters, unwelcome – addition, in the form of supply drops and microtransactions via Call of Duty Points. It’s worth noting that supply drops contain only cosmetic items at present, and can also be earned with in-game depot credits as well as purchased with real money via COD Points.

Users will also be able to craft many of the items provided in supply drops with Parts, which can be acquired by playing the game’s various modes.

The changes are coming via title update 1.06, which weighs in at 27GB for Xbox One users and approximately 8GB for PC and PS4 players.

It's good that more updates are coming out, I hope they're all free though for the price you've had to pay for the game. Should've expected microtransactions to be added too to be honest.

Supervisor I'm tired of them messing with the game when it's already good as is.

They need to make money after their bad IW launch and those Supply Drops sell and they are all profit for them.

Jesus. Just leave the game alone for once. Please.

I think that it was a good addition to the game, sure COD 4 did not really need this but I am fine with it because its only cosmetic. Im trying to get the BAMF skin, looks so cool. ( I think every cod after this will more then likely have supply drops )

Oh **** off, rip cod 4. Why do they have to be so money hungry?

Since it's all cosmetic things that they added, I actually like it for once. Imo, the weapon kits were a good addition.

None of you can justify purchasing this game or the bundle. You all let them control your pocket books.

Rareparrot And they slowly start to ruin the game.

It was already ruined back when they made a futuristic cod
