okay question for you .... if you found out a 17 year old was messaging a 12 year old family member wouldn't you want something done about it ?

I suggest you make this family members parents aware of the situation as they will know how to deal with this more then we will! There isnt a law about lying about age in this instance however its definitely dodgy and as i said definitely make them aware of the situation
