I'm a 15 year old and just finished freshman year of high school and i want to ask my dad about guns in the house, in case something was to happen like a home break-in what would i do, and please don't just say to straight up ask them, im kinda of shy( when i was 10 or 11 i would go over to my aunt's for daycare and i wouldn't even ask to go outside, i would have my brother do it ). Any help is welcome.
And please don't say that guns aren't neccessary, i know that a lot of you are in the UK but im in the US.

A gun isint needed it really isint, id rather hit them with a gold club, bat, flick out baton, invest in some pepper spray maybe, a gun isint nessasary

Wtf lol? Just be straight up and be like if someone broke in how could I defend myself? Ask where the guns are or the safe code.... I don't really know man lol just do you when you ask him

Just bring it up in conversation.

Farther. Hypothetically, If someone broke in what would we do? It would be useful to have a firearm in the house for protection reasons.

Go up to him and say you have a question to ask him. When he says what just be like "If someone where to break in is there any weapons around the house to protect us" try it man i'm sure you'll be alright.

So if someone enters your home without permission and they're armed with a shotgun you're going to pepper spray him?
