OK so...

I have unplugged all the cables and plugged then back in again.

Updated the BIOS with the latest update on the MSI website.

Still rebooting when it tries to load the OS

I think the issue is that one of my RAM sticks is broken. I removed both stick and tried each one individually and it seems that only one is working and it's letting me boot now.

Does this make sense? Could a faulty RAM stick cause the reboot loop?

Yes, do a mem test on it and if it fails it, your RAM should have lifetime warranty so I'd send it back.

how do I perform a memory test if I cannot boot. Is there a way to do it in the BIOS?

download memtest on another computer and burn it to a disc or usb and inset the disc/usb into your PC and it should run the test just make the boot device either the usb or disc (whatever memtest is burned to)
