Details: I want extreme bass, but even mids and highs.

Overall, I want earthshattering bass but not to much to distort the mids and highs, I was thinking about getting Astro A*Star or Sennheiser CX 300B MK II Precision Enhanced Bass ?

You can't have both extreme bass and good mids at your price point. I'm assuming you care more about bass though, at at your budget, I'd go with these: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Alright thank you and also thank you r00t. I just purchased them, I hope to hear positive from them.
Thanks for all your help!

He successfully killed too much of my time. Now I'm thinking of getting a DT880 and HD580 instead of an HD650. Dang it, I need to be able to hear these things.

By open do you mean you want ear buds, like this?

Or in-ears that make a seal, like this?

And dang, how do you put up with sleeping with IEMs? I could never do that, too uncomfortable.

I would go for the GR06 because they're very durable and comfortable. The over-ear design of the cable might bother you, though. I can't imagine it being an issue and I prefer to wear my regular IEMs with the cable over my ear. The sound signature is pretty neutral, so it should handle both genres fine. Also calling this music screamo is going to rub some folks the wrong way.
