Galaxy_Graphics wrote I'm 17 years old and I have some body fat. As of right now I weigh 176lbs. My goal is to go to the gym everyday for 8 months starting tomorrow to turn my body fat into muscle. I took a before picture and i'm going to take a after picture and maybe some progress pictures. What do you guys think of my goal? Think I can do it?!
This would be an amazing goal and keep us updated. I myself have some body fat and would love to see the effects of this body transformation. Good luck

best of luck with your goal. i think you should set yourself a second goal of what you want to come out like after you have finished this for extra motivation, if this is your only goal, i think you will get bored pretty fast. however once you see that first change on ur body after first weeks. it will motivate you more to keep on going and getting fitter and stronger

You cant really "turn your body fat into muscle", your body just doesn't work that way. If you want to slim down and that's your main goal, you need to be eating less calories than you are burning to cause a calorie deficit, which will lead to weight loss. I recommend eating 300-500 calories less each day (ex. if you are eating 2500 a day, eat 2000). If you're wanting to gain muscle and be big muscle wise, start lifting. Your extra weight will help with your muscle gains. You could lift for 6 months to a year and then cut down your body weight and you'll look a lot better. But its extremely hard for a human body, basically impossible, to burn fat and gain muscle at the same time. Hope I could help, good luck on your goals man!
