I feel this. I played the exact same games and feel the fact same thing now.

I feel that with aging games are just getting more stale. People keep complaining that CoD is getting worse and stuff but in reality you've played 7 different variations of a single franchise. But other than CoD. Games are just not as fun as they used to be, plus they did not cost an arm and a leg. I remember buying my Gamecube with 1 controller, no memory card, and Pokemon Colosseum for $125. ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS, and I put hundreds of hours into that console. In the 5 or so years that I had the GC. I may of had 6 games for it. Between sports games and Pokemon, I still had so much fun playing the games. Flash forward a decade, and now with the xbox one. I have 15+ games for the console and I feel like I have nothing to play...But in reality between now having a job, I hardly have time to play Xbox anymore. Before getting a job I was 7th prestige lvl 43, that was in November. Now January 2nd Im 7th prestige lvl 46. I have not played the game at all. I got a Nintendo DS for Christmas with the new Pokemon game and Im having more fun playing it than I have in the last 6 months of Xbox Live.

I know what you're saying! I am unsure of the reasons behind why I get bored extremely more quick these days. My theory is that it's simply we have gotten older and changed a bit. I used to really enjoy Minecraft back in the day, but now I can't play it for longer than an hour. You have to get emerged into a game's atmosphere when you're older, because your attention is harder to grab. I don't believe that ALL the games have gotten worse by no means. I feel as if we have just gotten older and changed as time went on. Tons of kids today that are my age back then seem to enjoy the Call of Duty games just as I did once upon a time.

Oh god I miss them days soo much makes me actually quite sad. Playing halo 3 with all your mates on custom games having fun for hours and then switching to mw2. I remember for xmas i was pure buzzing to get mw2 and then I loved it soo much. Nowadays every game just basically gets boring. For example cod ghosts was the worst cod ive ever played. and I dont think halo is anything special anymore

Take me back to cod4 and cod5 when the games weren't too advanced and didn't have too much going on inside the game
