Not true, the chassis is the issue. You can chassis swap one, but then its technically not an R34 so. And even if you did engine swap one once again its not a true R34

Exactly. It seems like too much work. I think I will wait until the car turns 25.

There's a guy in my state that has a registered r34. He said it's a 240sx with an r34 body kit. But he did that because he knows a lot of people. If you want a car to work on and drift get a 240sx and do a rb25 or sr20 swap. You'll get everything you need legally and cheaper.

I thought that the r34 conversions are really rare/hard/expensive?

There's a guy in my area selling an 89 Skyline. But, I just bought an 89 Supra. The guy I bought it from owned a silvia 240.
Anyways, looking for either of those cars you better have some deep pockets.
