Not true, the chassis is the issue. You can chassis swap one, but then its technically not an R34 so. And even if you did engine swap one once again its not a true R34

There's a guy in my state that has a registered r34. He said it's a 240sx with an r34 body kit. But he did that because he knows a lot of people. If you want a car to work on and drift get a 240sx and do a rb25 or sr20 swap. You'll get everything you need legally and cheaper.

Good luck! There are some nice 240's out there. Just gotta be able to find them.

There's a guy in my area selling an 89 Skyline. But, I just bought an 89 Supra. The guy I bought it from owned a silvia 240.
