If your going to be a full time student at college, then buy a cheap house. but if your a part time student, then just live at home. 20 miles really isn't that far.

Rengar wrote Well I am going to be graduating high school pretty soon and I really want to move out. I plan on getting an apartment with my buddy. We both have steady jobs with money in the bank. Rent is 1275 per month. What would you guys suggest?

I would get more of a better steady check maybe 2000 grand a month. Gotta think about bills grocery and carp going to work and back. I'm 17 and I'm making 600$ a week. I work on a farm but getting played off next week, then I work for my buds dad's trucking business

Remember 1 other person is living with me. He makes 1400 a month. That is 3000 a month between both of us.

Do you both own your own car. But you gotta look at it this way, you'll need grocery, accessories, electric bill, water bill, heating and oil bill and etc. You probably want around 3500-4500 a month.

We both own a car. The place pays for all of that stuff except for A/C. They pay for cable as well.

20 miles is pretty close. I go to college and its like 30 or 40 miles but i cant remeber. I carpool with like 6 people so the gas is cheap. but next semester ima go to a closer college so i dont have to go that far.

Live with your parents as long as you can, and save up all the money your not spending on bills. No rush.
