Incase you didnt understand fully, i meant 10th lobbies for cod4/waw/mw2.

Ive been skimming over those sections extensively recently and it has left quite a bitter distaste for me. Everytime im clicking on a thread, I EXPECT there to be several people asking to get in for free leaving their gamertag in their post. A solid 6 - 7 posts per page on average consist of these "leeching let me in for free posts" and quite frankly im disgusted with the ammount of impulsiveness, assumptions and stupidity shown by some members here.

Not only that, the other 2 - 3 posts consist of "SCAMMER", "SHOW SOME PROOF", "LIVESTREAM???" etc etc.

Example thread (Presuming this is a legit seller) :

"Post 1"

Hi guys im hosting an mw2 lobby. Its $20 for 10th and $10 for infections. Blah blah rent the lobby for this much you get the picture.

"Post 2 - 20"

DUDE YOURE A SCAMMER. Fake. Report this kid. Pls invite "Insert gt here". Etc etc.

Im sure youre getting the picture here right?

Im not completely blaming people in some cases though. The other angle is some people post "free lobbies" and really are wasting peoples time. In the end though this is all ammounting into a huge ammount of spam is it not?

How many people agree this is getting far too out of hand? Its almost like 95% of the community flocks to these sections lurking them and hardly ever decides to browse another forum fearing they may miss a coveted "free lobby" and their chance to spam the person messages to get into them.

What do you think the solution to this is, if there even is any? Is any resolve even required? Discuss.

People just are dumb in the lobby section and get scammed because of that reason.

Yet another good post 8) i dont mind the WaW lobby section that much but i would have the unverified Mw2 section gone tbh. Theres way too much spamming and scamming for the mods to keep up with imo

That was exactly my point, but alas then rises a dilema.

If we remove the lobby sections, this site will be reduced to a mere fraction of its total member base. (POTENTIALLY)

The income to this website and its owners will essentially become non-existant. (Im sure they wouldnt like that much ;))

BUT

The REAL members of this website would remain and it would evolve into a smaller more compact community. (Again this is up for debate).

The ammount of spam would be severely reduced.

Finally this website would attain an overall cleaner image. (This is merely my opinion of course)

So youre kind of stuck in a paradox here. The question is what to do and what not to do.

so basically what you can do is A: keep the sections have a growing community and rise more money or B: have a stronger community as a whole stop the spamming 10th threads but have the amount of members decrease and stop rising as fast
